And all your other choices to keep your daily – & work essentials safe & neat.

So far this year, 2020 is a crazy, uncertain, rollercoaster ride kind of year. Special in any way, since by gitte has turned 10 the first of september. In March when everything went down with the lockdown I got scared if by gitte could even celebrate its tenth anniversary…

In an act of fright for loss of sales I sent out a discount to a least get some revenue.

But what I didn’t see coming was that by gitte has very loyal customers! I got orders in, thank god, but most of you did not use the discount. I got messages telling me that you did not use the discount on purpose, to support me. I cried, literally.

by gitte could go on!

With the lockdown I started folding origami cranes, to keep my hands busy and my mind at ease. When sales came back in I packed the cranes with the orders, as an extra thank you.

Then the first of September came, I did a little happy dance. There were cards in the mail, and messages from again very loyal customers. Heart warming really. I cried again…

I keep on folding cranes, with the turn of the season I changed the colour of the cranes and later with the holiday season there will be Christmasy red cranes to hang in your tree.

Thank you so much for support over the last year and all the other years before. Without you there is no by gitte.
